While Alma is asleep

Time for a little update from us!

Alma is growing, she passed the 4kg limit quite fast and is now around 4,3 kg. She decided to make us know we are living... (sorry this is a Swedish expression) She cries quite a lot, I think it is the belly... but who knows!? Usually carrying her around makes her calm. But luckily she sleeps well at night. She eats 2-3 times during the night but falls asleep again after and so do I.

Noam is handling the change quite well.. and he managed to quit using the pacifier and nightdiper as well all during a two weeks period, not bad... Besides from that he is doing well as long as his parents remember to give him enough attention.. if not he know how to get attention..;)

Yesterday Noam and I were baking "lussebullar" while Alma was sleeping... Yummi!

TWO KIDS

Driving home from the hospital with two kids felt a bit unusual, suddenly I am a two kids mother.. wow..WOW.. I wonder how we are going to manage this challenge... It really feels like one! But so far it has been so easy, and I am quite surprised!! I remember the first few weeks when Noam came home as chaotic, I was so tired from not sleeping. But Alma... she sleeps..and eats...and sleeps again, and if she is not happy she needs food, or being carried and change a diaper. Alma is until now trouble-free and Noam is soo proud to be a big brother and is really good with Alma. While writing this I realise I shouldn't write it, because routines with children never last for a long time... So let’s see what is to come.. ;)

Tempting to make a visit on the other side?

I started making some baby clothes and a blanket for the baby to convince him/her that the other side can be warm and cosy also. The baby is due today and so far no signs for delivery unfortunately, not that I look forward to the actual delivery, but I SOOOO much look forward to getting the baby on my belly. Yaron is ready to support me during the tough hours and Noam is talking a lot about the new family member... so please please make us a visit!!!

... AND MORE COUSINS

Most of these pictures are from our last visit in Israel this spring, when we went for a few days with the family to a Zimmer vacation in the north of Israel. We had a great time, went for hikes and relaxed alot! Looking at these pictures makes me so happy to know we have a wonderful family in Israel... but sad that we can never have both sides of the family close...

Noam and his cousins

I found these pictures from when we visited my brother and his family this summer. I don't know why but I just love the first picture when Noam, Melker and Moa is watching bolibompa(children TV).. The other pictures are from when we drove to a lake and had BBQ. The kids was feeding ducks and picked lots of yummi blueberries...

A LITTLE BIT OF SUMMER 2008

How is it possible to show how the summer was in a few pictures? The camera was not used so frequent but we still have the memories... Memories from a few lovely days with my brother and his family, from Saba and Savtas visit in Sweden, our dear friend Lirons visit and a few camping trips, and not to forget many calm days spent at home in our little garden. Here is some of our good moments this summer.

Twice this summer we went camping, once by Vättern and once by Vänern. Noam was very fond of our new foldable home.. he slept like a koala and so did we.

Part of the fun with camping is to put the tent up..

Yaron searching for mushrooms in the forest.. with little luck..

Picnic in Gothenburg botanical garden.

This summer we really tried to have a garden with things to eat that we like, at the beginning of the summer it seemed like nothing grew, but with some new fresh soil it just wouldn't stop growing. We still get potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, wild straberries and rubarb..

Kan du hitta såpbubblan? Ata motse et buot hasabon?

I guess I have to update the blogg soon with a belly picture.. it looks like I have twins!..

Florence

We went, Yaron and I, to Florence to have a quiet weekend and mostly to meet our good aussie friends Helen (ok shes not really aussie.. but will be soon!) and Paul. It was amazing to see Helen after so many years.. I think we counted it to 4 years! Next time we meet will be in Africa 2010.. can't wait!

So what was the best about florence:
- To see Helen and Paul!
- Relaxing
- Food!
- Sleeping late in the morning
- Breakfast on the bed
- Walking in the city
- The beautiful little village Fiesole
- oh, almost forgot..Icecream!
