MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

.
Even though we live in Israel we did manage to get some Christmas atmosphere, not like in Sweden of course, but still. We baked gingerbread and made glögg (hot spiced wine). Santa came for a visit with a few gifts for us and we had a nice dinner. The same day we celebrated Hanukah with our aunt and her family. Candles, candles and lots of food all over again. Sometimes it is good to be a multicultural family!

THINKING

.
Noam: Mom?
Sonja: Mmmm..
Noam: Why did you choose to have so many different jobs?
Sonja: Mmm I guess because I like doing those things.
Noam: You actually have three jobs, and most people only have one job. You teach pilates, do pottery and teach knitting. Why mom?
Sonja: Because I like it that way.

After a while..

Noam: Mom you have too many kids for three jobs.

Just me and the clay

On day a week I spend learning more about working on the pottery wheel. This is heaven for me right now, having a day doing what I like the most and learning so much from a wonderful teacher called Michal. I am soaking up information and putting it into practise. Feeling very spoiled. And not to forget, this wouldn't be possible for me without our wonderful Savta Nava, Milos grandmother.
