THIS IS DEMOCRACY

Noam’s school is called the democratic school; it has an education system where the children are part of planning and organisation of the daily studies. If a child decides not to go to class if his legs tell him to go running instead it is okey.. Homework, hmm only if you want to. So when the children need a week off from studies and classroom to build shacks it happens, a few weeks ago Noam’s class had "shanty week".

I really believe this is a great system if it is within certain borders, giving the Children responsibility to learn, makes them so motivated. They actually learn and have soo much fun!

MILO AND LIFE

Milo is growing so fast, or is it me getting older.. time flies and I feel the need to enjoy each moment to see all good things that happens around me. Not to forget life and wake up after 20 years to realise I  wasted the best years of my life.

To see how Milo changes, how he is discovering the world, learning to cope and finding out what is in his surrounding is so amazing.

PIPPI AND PIPPI

Pardes Hanna, like most cities in Israel has an unusual (lacking) waste system. But for kids like mine this is heaven.. there is so much junk to find.. sometimes the junk is good and sometimes not. Today Noam and Alma found a dollhouse, which is going through major renovations. Every house needs golden stairs, right? (See if you can find Alma in the last photo)
